Our HoloUUCP service can be added onto your HoloNet account to give your office or BBS Internet E-Mail and USENET news without having to bear the cost of a full-time connection. Additionally, our HoloDNS service allows your e-mail or BBS users to have addresses such as "" in place of the default "".

How Does It Work?

Connecting to the Internet using UUCP software, your system connects to HoloUUCP service to automatically exchange Internet E-Mail and USENET news. HoloNet constantly collects mail and news for you from the Internet. When your system calls HoloNet, HoloNet sends you all the messages it has collected for your site, and all mail and news from your site is delivered to HoloNet. HoloNet then delivers your messages to others on the Internet.

You can configure your system to call HoloNet as often as you like to exchange mail and news.

Our HoloNews subscription by e-mail service allows you to easily and conveniently pick the newsgroups you want to make available to your system. Currently there are over 7,000 unique newsgroups totalling over 80MB of data transferred daily on USENET news. A complete list and a description of all newsgroups is available by sending the E-Mail message "listsendd" from HoloNews. You can access HoloNews after you have signed up for HoloUUCP service.
